Beaver Creek is located near the towns of Avon and Edwards south of Interstate 70 just west of Vail, Colorado. Avon is at the base of the Beaver Creek, CO ski resort and is adjacent to the main gate entering into the resort. Avon has a variety of amenities to offer such as reasonably priced lodging, restaurants, lounges, shops, ski and snowboard rentals, and recreation center with indoor swimming pool. Spa facilities are also available to at the Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, and the Beaver Creek Park Hyatt. There is a shuttle available for transport to and from Beaver Creek Village, and to take you around town if that's what you'd like. If you are interested in the performing arts, you will want to visit the Vilar Center, located in the Beaver Creek Village. The Vilar center is an exquisite elegant theater that hosts a variety of events including symphonies, ballets, plays, children's events, and much more. The small town of Edwards is also close by, located just three miles further west of Avon and Beaver Creek, CO, which has many of the same amenities as Avon, with more of a quaint historical feel.
